This is likely the most popular beach in Croatia, and it deserves every word of praise it receives. Because of its unique form, often referred to as the Golden Cape or Golden Horn, it is a gloriously golden stretch of rocks that extends into the Adriatic, its shape is ever changing due the influence of the tide and winds. This location is a protected natural area and a favorite spot for surfers and kite-surfers from around the globe. Zlatni rat beach is only 2 km from Bol.

This is the biggest beach on the Adriatic coast and is located at the Makarska Riviera's southernmost end. It is a pallid expanse of white rocks, protected by olive groves and pine trees from port winds. You can also spend lunchtime in one of the restaurants that have plenty of food and refreshments in store for bathers and tourists. Active beach visitors enjoy jet skiing and, among other things, volleyball or the large water slide. On the beach, there are parasol, lounge chair and pedal boat rentals as well as showers, changing rooms and toilets.

From beach volleyball to water parks, parasailing and beach parties, there's a lot to do. If you have a dog, take it to the south part of the beach and enjoy a swim together.

There are nearby bars, restaurants and pastry stores where you can refresh yourself during the summer temperatures with diverse food and drink offer.

A beautiful pebble beach hidden behind the high cliffs when looked at from the sea. Stiniva beach is located at the southern part of the island Vis – the farthest inhabited island in Croatia. Stiniva cove is known for its unique natural beauty dominated by high cliffs that form a small “sea entrance” to this pebble beach with clear turquoise sea. It was voted, by tourism organization European Best Destinations, as the most most beautiful beach in the Europe.

One of the most popular beaches in Croatia spreads out against the background of the Biokovo hills, stretching along the Makarska Riviera, and on south along the rocky shoreline of Split. The beach also includes a full variety of amenities such as sun beds and showers and is extremely popular with families.

Visitors can also choose to rent a bike and explore paved and unpaved paths from Brela to the hinterland running along the shoreline.

Lovrečina Bay is one of several beaches on the island that really delivers what you read in the brochures, with a sandy coast bordering translucent waters, and a deserted medieval church between olive groves just behind the beach. This beach is the ideal location for a packed picnic on your ship without any facilities on site. You can only reach Uvala Engleza by ship!

 

Sutmiholjska Beach, Mljet

Located on Mljet Island's southern coast, Sutmiholjska is a small, deep bay with beautiful pebble beach appropriate for kids and families. The bay is situated between the villages of Ropa and Babino Polje outside the National Park. Facilities in the bay include a small restaurant, cafe, basic corner shop and rental agency. Facing south, the beach is sunny all day long while in the late afternoons, there is some shade in the western part of the bay.
