Primošten is a beautiful, small old town with an interesting arhitecture. It is located between Split and Šibenik on a small island connected to the mainland by a pathway. On the highest peak of the former island lies a beautiful church of sv. Juraj (St. George). Primošten is very popular for its beautiful vineyards which were the inspiration to many painters. There is even a painting of Primošten vineyards hanging on the wall in the UN building in New York. Except for the amazing Mediterranean couisine and extraordinary local vines, Primošten offers an experience of the famous traditional donkey race which is organised every summer. Only few minutes of walk distance from the old town lie beautiful beaches with crystal clear sea, including Raduča, the largest city beach.
There are few berths in the port of Primošten. It is protected from NE and NW winds. If you are striving for a more peaceful place, only 2.5NM south in the next bay is a well protected Marina Kremik.
Once a fishermen's village, Maslinica nowadays became one of central Dalmatia’s yachting hotspots due to its newly built marina which is a part of complex of Martinis – Marchi castle hotel. Marina is equipped with electric power, fresh water and public facilities while the castle offers delicious meals in its restaurant. Anchoring is possible between islets Saskinja and Polebrnjak just in front of the village. Party animals are more than welcome to Šešula bay, next door to Maslinica where some buoys are moored. A cocktail bar and a restaurant are on the waterfront just above the bay. Bakery and supermarket along with some restaurants and bars are in the very center of Maslinica.
Komiža is positioned in the deep-lying open port on the western coastline of the island Vis under the slopes of nearly 600 meter high Mt. Hum. If anchoring in Komiža bay, extra care is required due to rather strong winds descending from the surrounding hills into the bay. Yachtsmen who moored on the buoy are allowed to take the mooring at the pier next morning, after other boats leave the port. The use of mooring, electric power and fresh water is included in the price of buoy. Komiža amazes visitors with its narrow streets, attractive stone houses squeezed together along the harbor and numerous beaches. Along the entire eastern coast of Komiža bay there are many pebbly beaches with springs of fresh water. Furthermore, Komiža is not only adored by yachting people but also by those who like diving, hiking, paragliding or other adventure sports since several agencies and diving centers offer different activities starting from Komiža.
Vela Luka is a pleasant small town with rich cultural heritage located on W side of island Korčula. Before Vela Luka became attractive to tourists it was known as town of fishermen and farmers. Today there is still a lot fishermen, olive oil and vine producers but the tourism is the most important. Vela Luka is surrounded with many beautiful beaches and bays. Above the town among olive groves there is also an extraordinary site Vela Spila (The Great Cave). Harbour inVela Luka is exposed to the W wind, anchorage is advised in the cove Plitvine. The fuel station is located in the harbour.

Mooring in Hvar port during the top season is possible only by luck or if booked by the port authorities in advance; due to busy traffic and popularity of Hvar town.
On the northern side of the island of Hvar at the end of 4 NM long bay, the historical jewel Stari Grad is located, surrounded by the pine tree forest, vineyards and olive-groves. The city dates back to the 384 BC when the ancient Greeks sailors arrived and built beautiful Faros, today known as Stari Grad. Stari Grad's plain and the historic centre of the city are listed under the UNESCO List of the World Heritage sites. If you are a professional sailor or just a sea and boat lover, Stari Grad is a perfect stop for you. Visiting the city built by the Greek sailors by yacht makes the best story for a perfect vacation. Harbour offers 100 berths equipped with fresh water and electricity, toilets and showers. It is very well protected for all winds except W winds.
Milna refers to the one of the best protected marinas at the Adriatic coast. ACI marina Milna is located in the southeastern part of the Milna bay, while Marina Vlaška sits in the NW part of the bay. Both marinas offer moorings, electric power, fresh water and public facilities. There is a gas station on the S side of the bay while the city itself offers a variety of restaurants and bars.
Rogoznica is a small town with an amazing culture and history, located in the sheltered bay 30km south of Šibenik. It parly lies on the small inlet and partly on the mainland which are connected by a bridge. It has about 50 kilometerers of gorgeous coast with stone and pebble beaches surrounded by pine tree forrest, and offers beautiful beaches hidden in small coves. The most famous place in Rogoznica is a natural phenomen called the '“Dragon's Eye“ which is a salt water lake surrounded by sheer cliffs holding a distinctive flora and fauna. There is a lot of events during the summer, one of which is a very popular fishermen's Night fishing festival. It includes good music, fresh local fish, local wine and olive oil.
Rogoznica is well known by sailors because it is positioned in a well protected bay and has one of most beautiful and safest marina in Croatia, Marina Frapa, which offers 460 fully equipped berths with electricity, fresh water, toilets, showers and many more.
Smokvica Vela is a small and peaceful island located in the south of the National park Kornati. The island is is uninhabited, except during the summer season. On the south side of the island in Lojena bay there are two nice restaurants which offer moorings and buoys and only few apartments. The island is perfect for relaxing and enjoying in the quiet and beautiful bay away from the city noise.
Sailing the islets of Kornati National Park and enjoying the beauties of Telašćica Natural Park always bring out a special feeling of being in the very heart of the untouched nature. Spectacular scenery spreads all over the eyesight while turquoise crystal clear waters call for swimming and snorkeling. Sali refers to the administrative center of Dugi otok island which has become an adored yachtsmen's spot. All sailors traditionally gather at the Maritimo cocktail bar while those who want to experience some of the village life would definitely be amazed by the mood of local library which provides much more than just books. The series of parties and festivities take part during the summer within “Saljske užance”, tourist and cultural festival which promotes traditional values of the island.
Vrgada is a small fishermen's island which stands in the front of the southern entrance to the Pašman canal, and it is surrounded by few smaller islands.The island has beautiful old stoned houses, historical churches built in the 9th century, apartments and a couple of restaurants. It has numerious beautiful bays and sandy beachs surrounded by pine forest. It is an ideal location if you want a quiet vacation because there are no cars on the island. There are moorings in the St. Andrija bay, or you can take a bouyage in the front of the Luka bay.
Zlarin is the biggest island within the Šibenik archipelago and its only inhabited village bears the same name as the entire island. Moorings, electric power and fresh water are available at the port while anchorage is possible in the same bay. Beware of shallow waters in its NE part. This island became famous for its red corals and coral pickers. There is a ceremony held in summer during which women dress in traditional folk costumes, sing traditional songs, and wish good luck to their men who went diving for corals.
Sailing the canal of Šibenik and passing the core of Šibenik with its St. James cathedral, protected by the UNESCO as a world heritage site, offers the unique feeling of sailing into the heart of mainland. Special sensation could be felt while sailing under the bridge and curving the canyon of river Krka. Due to the narrow strait and heavy traffic the use of sails is not allowed when passing the canyon. Skradin refers to the small town where the traditional crafts are wine growing and shell farming. Besides excellent food Skradin offers the wonders of Krka National Park just few kilometers away. Amazing waterfalls and stunning nature could be reached by rented bicycles from the city center or by tourist ferry from Skradin port.
