Kukljica is a beautiful fishermen's and touristic village located in the SE end of the island Ugljan. The historic core of the village with its original examples of folk architecture is divided from tourist peninsula “Green Punta” by a beautiful bay. Kukljica has beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear water, with the most popular ones being Sabuša, Jelenica and Kostanj. Beach Kostanj is a stunning sandy beach surrounded by the thick pine tree forest and it is ideal for anchoring. Marina Kukljica is well equipped marina with electricity, fresh water, toilets, showers and it has 300 berths.
The island Murter dates back to the Roman era which makes is marked by an enormous historical heritage. The island has beautiful stone and sandy beaches and numerous bays which are perfect for anchoring. The approach to the town of Murter and Marina Hramina requires extra care and the route around N sides of islets Žinjak and Tegina. Marina Hramina is well organized and provides electric power, fresh water and public facilities. A great night life is not to be missed in the town of Murter as well as its exquisite sea food offer.
Primošten is a beautiful, small old town with an interesting arhitecture. It is located between Split and Šibenik on a small island connected to the mainland by a pathway. On the highest peak of the former island lies a beautiful church of sv. Juraj (St. George). Primošten is very popular for its beautiful vineyards which were the inspiration to many painters. There is even a painting of Primošten vineyards hanging on the wall in the UN building in New York. Except for the amazing Mediterranean couisine and extraordinary local vines, Primošten offers an experience of the famous traditional donkey race which is organised every summer. Only few minutes of walk distance from the old town lie beautiful beaches with crystal clear sea, including Raduča, the largest city beach.
There are few berths in the port of Primošten. It is protected from NE and NW winds. If you are striving for a more peaceful place, only 2.5NM south in the next bay is a well protected Marina Kremik.
Once a fishermen's village, Maslinica nowadays became one of central Dalmatia’s yachting hotspots due to its newly built marina which is a part of complex of Martinis – Marchi castle hotel. Marina is equipped with electric power, fresh water and public facilities while the castle offers delicious meals in its restaurant. Anchoring is possible between islets Saskinja and Polebrnjak just in front of the village. Party animals are more than welcome to Šešula bay, next door to Maslinica where some buoys are moored. A cocktail bar and a restaurant are on the waterfront just above the bay. Bakery and supermarket along with some restaurants and bars are in the very center of Maslinica.
Komiža is positioned in the deep-lying open port on the western coastline of the island Vis under the slopes of nearly 600 meter high Mt. Hum. If anchoring in Komiža bay, extra care is required due to rather strong winds descending from the surrounding hills into the bay. Yachtsmen who moored on the buoy are allowed to take the mooring at the pier next morning, after other boats leave the port. The use of mooring, electric power and fresh water is included in the price of buoy. Komiža amazes visitors with its narrow streets, attractive stone houses squeezed together along the harbor and numerous beaches. Along the entire eastern coast of Komiža bay there are many pebbly beaches with springs of fresh water. Furthermore, Komiža is not only adored by the yachting people but also by those who like diving, hiking, paragliding or other adventure sports since several agencies and diving centers offer different activities starting from Komiža.
Swim break is recommended in one of the numerous hidden and deserted bays and cove alongside S coast of the island or in the small archipelago at the E side of the island.
Island of Vis, also known as the pearl among Croatian Adriatic, used to be a military zone during Yugoslavia and it was forbidden for foreigners until late 1980s. Thanks to the natural beauty, unique history and cultural heritage, the island Vis became a very famous tourist destination. The movie Mamma mia 2 was filmed on this amazing island. While visiting Vis, an excursion to Modra Špilja (Blue Cave) and/or Green Cave is a must. The visit to Modra špilja cave is possible by tender, but without using the outboard engine. The skipper has to manuevre the yacht in front of the entrance while the crew has to row the tender into the cave. The other possibility to visit the cave is if the yacht is moored or anchored at Mezoporat while visitors are taken to the cave by the official tour-boat. The best and the fastest option is to take a boat tour for both locations.
The pier on the waterfront of Vis port is equipped with electric power and fresh water. Those yachtsmen who spend the night on the buoy are allowed to moor the next morning and refill water tanks and batteries. Separated mooring spot is at Kut, the E corner of Vis bay, where some of the best restaurants of the island are situated. Some of the most popular restaurants lie in the plain just in the middle of the island where visitors can be taken by shuttles available the port of Vis. Since island Vis was forbidden to foreigners until late '80s due to many military facilities on the island, a special offer is the tour around the interior of the island, visiting tunnels and hidden hangars of the former army.
On the northern side of the island of Hvar at the end of 4 NM long bay, the historical jewel Stari Grad is located, surrounded by the pine tree forest, vineyards and olive-groves. The city dates back to the 384 BC when the ancient Greeks sailors arrived and built beautiful Faros, today known as Stari Grad. Stari Grad's plain and the historic centre of the city are listed under the UNESCO List of the World Heritage sites. If you are a professional sailor or just a sea and boat lover, Stari Grad is a perfect stop for you. Visiting the city built by the Greek sailors by yacht makes the best story for a perfect vacation. Harbour offers 100 berths equipped with fresh water and electricity, toilets and showers. It is very well protected for all winds except W winds.
Drvenik lies at the end of the inlet on the NW coast of island Drvenik Veli and it belongs to the municipality of Trogir. The island has 24 kilometers of a beautiful coastline with amazing pebble and sandy beaches with many bay and coves. The place has a population of only 168 citizens and they are mostly fishermen and farmers . It is an ideal place for a quiet and relaxing day on sailing vacation.
Zlarin is the biggest island within the Šibenik archipelago and its only inhabited village bears the same name as the entire island. Moorings, electric power and fresh water are available in the port while anchorage is possible in the same bay. Beware of shallow waters in its NE part. This island became famous for its red corals and coral pickers. There is a ceremony held in summer during which women dress in traditional folk costumes, sing traditional songs, and wish good luck to their men who went diving for corals.
This day you are about to visit two natural reserves – Natural Park Telašćica and Kornati National Park. Both sites are highly protected due to their natural beauties and the diversity of flora and fauna. Make sure you catch the view to the steep slopes and cliffs on W side of the islets you are about to pass by. Numerous islets hide virgin and deserted beaches and coves mostly suitable for safe anchoring and swim breaks. ACI marina Piškera is the only marina in Kornati National Park where you could count on mooring, a fine restaurant while electric power and fresh water are only available between 6 and 10 PM and 6 and 10 AM. A pleasant marina offers breathtaking sunset over the Adriatic billow. Tickets to Telašćica Natural Park and Kornati National Park are available by the rangers who patrol through anchorages within protected areas as well as at the reception of marina Piškera.
Sali refers to the administrative center of Dugi otok island which has become an adored yachtsmen's spot. All sailors traditionally gather at the Maritimo cocktail bar while those who want to experience some of the village life would definitely be amazed by the mood of local library which provides much more than just books. The series of parties and festivities take part during the summer within “Saljske užance”, tourist and cultural festival which promotes traditional values of the island.
Veli Iž is located on the island Iž, in the Zadar archipelago and it is an a ideal place for a peaceful vacation. Veli Iž is a calm village with marina, hotel and few restaurants, but during the summer it comes to life, offering a lot of traditional customs and genuine food. The peak of the season is July 29th when people of Iž elect their king.
Marina Benjamin is well protected from all winds, have 45 berths and it is equipped with water, electricity, toilets, showers and exchange office.
Veli Rat is the northest point of Dugi Otok in Čuna bay. The place, as known today, dates back to the Roman era. SE of Veli Rat is located Sakarun Bay with one of most beautiful beaches in Adriatic. Sakarun beach is 800m long and it is famous for its white sand and crystal clear water. Around three kilometres NW of the village stands the biggest lighthouse in Croatia, Veli Rat, also known as a Punta Bjanca. Punta Bjanca is 42 meters high, and there is even a possibility to rent a lighthouse suite. In the courtyard of the lighthouse is a chapel of St. Nicholas, known as a protector of seamen.
Marina Veli Rat is situated in the most indented part of Pantera Bay, Čuna Cove, in the NW part of Dugi Otok Island. Marina offers safe shelter in different weather conditions and it's well protected from all winds, although some swells are possible during strong NW winds. It's equipped with water and electricity and has 200 berths, the depth ranges from 3 to 4 meters.
