Paros
Paros lies in the heart of the Aegean, a popular destination and nice change of pace from some of its neighbors. Known for its traditional architecture, small villages dotted around the island, beautiful beaches and historical monuments, it has something for everyone.
Paroikia and Naoussa are the main ports on Paros. Paroikia is the capital and main port of Paros and provides excellent shelter from most winds, with a sand and grassy seabed which provides good holding. Warning: On the approach of both ports, beware of rocks and reefs. Moor stern-to, some mooring lines are available or you may need to drop anchor. If strong winds, it may be best to anchor off.
