Sporades
The Sporades are a small group of islands in the Northwest Aegean Sea known for their nature with thick forests, bright blue and turquoise waters and myriad white sandy beaches; they also have a great balance of peace with a splash of nightlife thrown in (Skiathos is known as the Mykonos of the Sporades). The Sporades consists of 24 islands, only four of which are permanently inhabited – Skiathos, Alonnisos, Skopelos and Skyros and yes, Skopelos is where Mama Mia was filmed, retrace their steps to the top of the cliff where the wedding took place at the Saint Ioannis Chapel!
Skiathos Marina
Skiathos Marina is located in Skiathos town and is just 2 km from the airport. Skiathos is an idyllic seaside town, the marina has basic facilities but its proximity to the town gives access to other services like laundry, supermarkets, restaurants and nightlife.
