Volos

Volos is a vibrant, modern port city on the mainland in the town of Thessaly and is one of the largest commercial ports in Greece making it busy with cargo ships, ferries and charter boats. Most of the moorings are reserved for local boats but there are 133 moorings available with space for Mega Yachts. The southern breakwater is suitable for alongside berths; however, note that there are no laid mooring lines anymore and the seafloor is littered with old lines and chains, so dropping anchor can be precarious.
