Montenegro is a Balkan country whose coastline borders the Adriatic Sea. While it may not boast 1,000 islands like its Croatian neighbor, in less than 300 km of coastline, it packs in spectacular scenery; from medieval villages and gorgeous beaches to rising mountains and rugged nature. The Montenegrin coast is divided into two parts; the Bay of Kotor which more resembles a fjord and contains the medieval towns of Herceg Novi and Kotor, and the coastline which stretches from Budva to Ulcinj.
