Tenerife/ Marina del Sur
Lanzarote is another intriguing island in the Canary group and has been a UNESCO Heritage protected Geopark since 2015. The diversity of nature here is truly extraordinary - stretches of sandy and black rock beaches, the Timanfaya National Park, Janubio salt flats, El Golfo green lagoon, quaint villages, numerous mountain ranges which reach to 670 m above sea level (at the highest point), desert and even the world’s largest underwater volcanic tunnel. And, Lanzarote’s position between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, combined with its sub-tropic climate and geological nature, make it a perfect destination for diving. Expect an array of flora and fauna, unique natural features and spotting the likes of moray eels, rays, groupers, sea horses and many native species alongside the coral reefs.
Playa Blanca is situated on the south side of the island and has become one of the island’s most popular destinations for those in search of peace, nature and relaxation. Marina Rubicon has an incredible location, being set between the Las Ajaches Volcanic range, Playa Blanca and the nearby Timanfaya National Park.
